Miller is a very good player. He's just not the right fit for the top two lines in TB. That said, he'll bring a great power forward game to the 'Nucks.

Was a 1st expensive? Eh... not really. A power forward on a decent deal for the next 4 or 5 years? Kind of worth it, really.

Some bizarre decisions by the officiating crew last night.

Myers and Erne should have been given coincidental minors.

Stecher hit in the head with an elbow away from the play. That's rightly getting called as the initial infraction. The usual scrum follows for that unacceptable act. As a deterrent for any more cheap shots by the frustrated Wings? Let's even them up.

Even the linesmen seemed caught off guard by a few of the icing calls.

Good clean hit by Schaller on Larkin. I liked that he did that shortly after one of the Wings bumped Petterson when he was already on his knees. Going after their top guys and having a deadly power play will be the best way to deter liberties being taken on Petey and Hughes.
